This leaded art glass panel is a work in progress. The concept for this project is to alter the original 24″ x 30″ leaded window and repurpose it into a new contemporary panel that can be displayed in any modern home or business. The new design will divide the window into three panels. While utilizing most of the original glass, a new border of seedy glass will be added for additional texture and contrast to the center crest. The three panels will be displayed in a custom built cherry frame. This new frame will have a circular wooden element around the crest with the smaller glass wing panels on either side. The overall size of the repurposed panel will be 16″ x 40″.
